About Us

The Bike-N-Bar is a 12 passenger (including the driver) bike that was hand built in 2007 in West Olive, Michigan by the very talented Keith Brown.  The bike travels at an average speed of 3-4 mph and is relatively easy to pedal.  Although the bike has had riders from their 20s all the way into their 70s, it does require some amount of agility and stamina to both get on the bike and to pedal.  

 

Our routes cover most popular eating and drinking establishments in Chesterton and Michigan City.   We require a non-refundable $100 deposit and signed contract to reserve the bike.  We have a 3 hour minimal rental at $125 per hour up to $500 maximum for 8 hours.  Rainouts will be rescheduled.  A Duneland Bike-N-Bar driver will be provided for your tour. 

 

The bike does require a minimum passenger age of 21 years old.  For an additional $30, we can add a magnetic announcement (24” x 36”) to the front of the bike.  Examples include fun announcements like “Happy Birthday Kelly” or “Bachelorette Mary”.  The Bike-N-Bar is also available for parades!
